The job placements you create with Kickstart funding must be new jobs and cannot:
- Replace existing or planned vacancies
- Cause existing employees or contractors to lose or reduce their employment
We are partnering with businesses throughout England to pool job vacancies.
Simply Inspired Training will act on your behalf like a Kickstart Gateway and submit your application to DWP for your Kickstart Scheme grant.
We will:
- Gather information from you about the job placements you’d like to offer
- Use this information to submit an online application on your behalf along with our other clients as a group of employers
- Deal with all the administration on your behalf, as well as pass on the relevant payments made by DWP to you (for example the young person’s salary)
We will also share our expertise with you to help you onboard and train young people employed through the scheme, for example supporting those with particular disadvantages or working in certain sectors to provide employability support directly to young people employed through the scheme. All Kickstarts will complete a Highfields Accredited Level 1 Employability Award.
