1. Who we are

Simply Inspired Training Limited (“SIT”, “we”, “us”) is the controller of the personal data described in this notice. We are registered in England and Wales (company number 07813769). Our registered office is 14 Cotesbach Road, London E5 9QJ. We are registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (registration number ZA809029).

2. What we collect and why

Enquiries. When you email us or ask for a call back, we receive your name, email address, any phone number you give us and what you tell us about your enquiry. We use it to reply and, if you wish, to discuss and deliver work with you. Lawful basis: legitimate interests in responding to enquiries, or steps taken at your request before entering into a contract.
Clients and delegates. If we deliver work or training for you, we keep the contact, booking, attendance and invoicing information we need to deliver it and meet our legal and accounting duties. Lawful basis: contract and legal obligation.
Website use. Our hosting provider records technical information such as IP addresses in server logs for security and to keep the site running. Lawful basis: legitimate interests.

The “Where would you begin?” tool on our homepage runs entirely in your browser. Nothing you select is sent to us or stored.

3. Who we share it with

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us run the business (website hosting, email and accounting software), with associates we bring in to deliver work you have agreed to, and where the law requires us to.

4. Cookies, analytics and third-party services

Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand, in aggregate, how people use our website (for example, which pages are visited and how visitors arrive) so that we can improve it. It sets cookies (named _ga and _ga_TYQX0J7X9B) that last up to two years. Google acts as our service provider. We have switched off Google’s advertising features and Google signals, and we do not use this data for advertising or to identify you. We rely on the exemption for statistical analytics under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, as amended by the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025.

You can turn analytics off at any time using the button below or the “Turn off analytics” link in our website footer. This stores a small setting in your browser so that analytics stays off on future visits from that browser.

Fonts. Our website uses fonts provided by Google Fonts. When a page loads, your browser connects to Google’s servers, which receive your IP address.

We do not use advertising cookies.

5. International transfers

Some of our service providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on UK adequacy regulations or appropriate safeguards such as the International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

6. How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted within 24 months. Client and financial records are kept for six years after the end of the financial year they relate to, to meet tax and accounting requirements.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access your personal data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its use, and to data portability. To use any of these rights, email info@sitraining.co.uk. We will respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, please tell us first. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office: ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or 0303 123 1113.

8. Changes

We will update this notice when our practices change. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
